What are Soy Candles?
Soy Candles are made of 100% soybeans that are manufactured in the United States. Soybean has been widely known in the Asian culture and has been used for 5,000 years. Today, America grows about 3 billion bushels of soybeans and it accounts for more than one-third of the world’s soybean crop.

Soy can be found in the newspaper ink found at your door in the mornings, foam insulation and carpet backing in your home – made from soy plastic, crayons, cleaners, dust control and even found in the elevators of the Statue of Liberty using soy hydraulic fluid. WOW! How awesome is that.

What is the difference between Soy Candles and Paraffin Candles?
There's a BIG difference! The difference is that soy candles are again made from soybeans that are biodegradable and a renewable source.

Paraffin is made of a by-product of petroleum refining. Paraffin burns hotter than soy candles and produces a lot of "black" soot in the container as well as on your walls and furniture.

In an edible sense, Soy breaks down, safely and relatively quickly, into raw materials of nature and disappears into the environment. Paraffin is nondigestible; it passes through the body without being broken down.

My Soy Candle appears to be "sweating". What is this?
Soy candles may have a tendency to sweat due to excess moisture in the air. If it's too hot in the area where your candle is located it may sweat. It's okay! Simply take a paper towel and wipe the excess moisture. This will go away when you burn your candle or by keeping it in a cool area away from direct sunlight.

Are there other chemicals added to your Soy Candles?
No. Our soy candles are hand made using nothing but 100% soybean wax with LEAD-FREE wicks. We use natural PAPER CORE or HEMP wicks only! Our fragrances are combined of essential oils and nature-inspired fragrance oils that are un-diluted and specifically formulated for the use in soy wax candles. Other candle companies may have a tendency of using other chemicals that are unnecessary and can affect the way a candle burns.
